History

Smart Girls Rock Foundation was created in honor of women who are an integral part of my personal life and have inspired me to persevere in an unforgiving and brutal workforce. These women have been the backbone of women’s rights and have chiseled away at the inequities and mistreatment of women for decades. Giving back is the way that we can all benefit generations of women. The “Smart Girls Rock Foundation” is designed to give back to the next generation of strong, smart, and empowered women through rewards for hard work.

The purpose of Smart Girls Rock Foundation is to award scholarships to young women who have the following qualities:

• They perform well academically
• They demonstrate that they have the ability to make an impact on their environment socially 
• They demonstrate that they are leaders and contribute intellectually on multiple forums.
